We are going Local! 
This past week I purchased an arm load of ingredients for this weeks meals from the Hammonds Plains Farmers Market. 

Vegetables and Apple Cider from Tap Root Farms
Haddock from Evan's Fresh Seafood
Roast Beef from Blue Barn Farms

Contact the Chef and have your weeks meals reserved for you to pick up
at the Market on Thursday from 3-7 PM.

Please see menu below for this weeks selections:

Butternut Squash Soup, with Cortland Apples    $5

A puree of butternut squash and Cortland apples, finished with apple cider from
Noggins Farm Market.
This soup is packaged in a small 500ml container.  Enough we think for 1 person.

Pulled Pork Stew with Puff Pastry Topping     $14

A Portion of 2.
Pork shoulder slowly cooked and pulled apart and mixed with celery, carrots and potatoes.
A savoury and spicy broth was made from the drippings and was combined into the stew.
 

Blue Barn Beef Stew with Tap Root Vegetables     $16

A portion of 2.
Beef rump roast slowly cooked with organic carrots, kohlrabi and potatoes and combined with a jus made from the drippings.

Evan's Seafood Haddock and Saffron Leek Lasagne $18

A Portion of 2
Haddock from Evans Fresh Seafood slowly poached in a lime court bouillon. This poaching liquid (court bouillon) then flavoured with saffron and mixed with Tap Root Farms Leeks. 
All Layered with handmade lasagna noodles, and finished with grated Havarti and Mozzarella cheese ready for baking.
 

Beef Lasagne     $18

A Portion of 2
Seasoned ground beef mixed with a flavourful herb tomato sauce, layered with spinach and ricotta, handmade lasagne noodles and finished with cheese ready for baking.
Next Week come visit us for some Local Parsnip Apple Soup!
