GOURMET EXPRESS PACKAGED MEALS  -  FRESH LOCALLY SOURCED FOOD FOR OUR PACKAGE MEALS! 

Selling at the Hammonds Plains Farmers Markets Thursday from 3 -7 pm.

Thank you for everyone who purchased our meals last week and we hope that we helped bring dinner to your table. 

Our Garrison Beer Ribs and Local Lobster Bisque were the 2 best sellers at last weeks Market. 

We are kneading and rolling a huge batch of whole wheat pasta for our 2 Lasagnes this week. Read below for details.

We welcome the idea of reserving your meals to avoid disappointment.

FRESH     SELECTIONS

Butternut Squash Soup     $5

A puree of butternut squash and Cortland apples from Noggins Farm Market.
This soup is packaged in a small 500ml container.  Enough we think for 1 person

Trio of Carrot Salad with Asian Peanut Dressing

Local Carrots with Trio of Colours combined with an Asian Peanut Dressing.



Chicken Alfredo Lasagne                  2/portion

Blue Barn Roasted Chicken and Webber Hungarian Sausage combined inside a creamy cheesy sauce layered between homemade whole wheat pasta noodles and sprinkled with Mozzarella for baking.  


Haddock Lasagne     $18     2/portion

Evans Fresh Seafoods Haddock poached lightly in a saffron broth.  Tap Roots Farms leeks also blanched in the same broth. This broth is then reduced and lightly thickened and combined back with the Haddock and Leaks.

This mixture is layered between homemade whole wheat pasta noodles and sprinkled with Havarti for baking. This was a Market Sell out Before Christmas Market Break.


Braised Red Cabbage

Tap Root Farms Red Cabbage braised with fresh cranberry, Cortland Apples and Cranberry Strawberry Jelly from the market last week. 
Finished with a splash of Port and underlay of Orange.
Try this condiment with your meal tonight!
 

FROZEN     SELECTIONS

Sweet Potato Soup     $5

A puree of roasted sweet potato soup with an underlay of Acadian Maple. 
This soup is packaged in a small 500ml container.  Enough we think for 1 person.

Turnip Honey Soup     $5

A pureed blend of Turnips balanced with Cosman and Whidden NS Honey. 
This soup is packaged in a small 500ml container.  Enough we think for 1 person

Parsnip and Apple Puree Soup    $5

A puree of parsnips and Cortland apples from Noggins Farm Market.
This soup is packaged in a small 500ml container.  Enough we think for 1 person.




Beef Lasagne     $15

4 layers of homemade pasta with a rich tomato meat sauce and mozzarella.
This package is full and is good for 2 portions!

Garrison Brown Beer Beef Ribs with Rice     $18

Oultons Farm Beef Ribs braised in a Rich Garrison Brown Beer Sauce.

Chicken Stew with Rice     $14

Martock Farm Roasted Whole Chicken along with carrots, potatoes, onions and leeks in a rich chicken gravy.  

Oultons Farm Roasted Beef until tender and cut into pieces and stewed with carrots, potatoes and celery root in a rich beef gravy on top of Smashed skin on Potato.

Beef Stew with Smashed Potato     $14

Roasted Pork Loin with Cortland Apples     $6

Thinly sliced Pork Loin roasted with Cortland Apples served with a Red Wine Sauce.  This is packaged as a single portion ready to reheat in the microwave.

Sweet Potato and Kale Cakes     $5

A savoury patty made from roasted sweet potato, russet potatoes and kale. 
Seasoned nicely and pan fried ready for you to reheat for tonight's meal!

Potato and Leek Lasagne     $5

A small portion of 2 to help compliment any meal. 

Layers of russet potato and leeks with sprinkles of mozzarella.
